Galderma is paying $1.5bn for a $330m skincare business. What makes ZO Skin Health valuable?
Galderma has agreed to acquire ZO Skin Health from investors including Blackstone and the Obagi family for an enterprise value of $1.5 billion. The transaction adds approximately $330 million in annual sales and a network of more than 16,500 professional accounts, although near-term integration spending is expected to weigh on margins.
