Aidoc has secured FDA Breakthrough Device Designation for First Read, an investigational artificial intelligence system designed to analyse chest radiographs and generate preliminary report text. The technology could reduce reporting pressure, but automation bias, missed findings and unclear liability remain significant barriers.
